Christopher W. Jones

School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering
​Professor Jones is the John Brock III School Chair and Professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech. He joined Georgia Tech as an Assistant Professor in 2000 and then rose through the ranks, including serving as Associate Vice President for Research from 2013-2019, with a period as Interim Executive Vice-President for Research in 2018.
Dr. James Landon
Founder & CTO of PowerTech Water, Inc. (PTW)
Dr. James Landon is the Founder & CTO of PowerTech Water, Inc. (PTW), a water treatment start-up company in Lexington, KY that focuses on innovative and selective water treatment devices. Dr. Landon is an expert in electrochemical water treatment, carbon electrode synthesis and surface chemistry, and electrochemical engineering with over 10 years of experience as a leader of project teams and as an individual contributor. Dr. Landon received his BS in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University in 2006 and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2011
